Littleton, CO – On September 18, 2023, the Club at Ravenna will host the 9th Annual Ravenna Invitational benefitting Infinite Hero Foundation (IHF). The partnership between Infinite Hero and The Club at Ravenna began in 2014 when they hosted the 1st Annual Ravenna Invitational and since then $2.2 million dollars has been raised at this event. These funds have played a significant role in helping to advance Infinite Hero’s mission to connect our military, veterans and military family members with innovative and effective treatment programs for service-related injuries.
Since Infinite Hero’s inception in 2012, more than 56,000 military, veterans, and military family members have been connected to innovative and effective treatment programs for service-related injuries. This year’s event is taking place during Suicide Prevention Awareness Month – a time to raise awareness, focus efforts on directing treatment to those who need it most, and remember those affected by suicide. Suicide prevention is one of Infinite Hero Foundation’s five key pillars and a battle IHF is committed to fighting every day. Our nation’s veterans and servicemen and women have faced many challenges over the last several years. During this time, we have seen devastating reports about increasing suicide rates and mental health challenges. Infinite Hero remains more dedicated than ever to providing access to innovative rehabilitation programs that address the unique needs of those who selflessly and bravely served our country. The Club at Ravenna remains steadfast in their commitment to join Infinite Hero in these efforts.
“Suicide prevention and brain health remain a key challenge for our veterans and their families. Infinite Hero strives to inspire collaboration of the top minds in technology, community, medical research, and mental health care to find solutions that revolutionize the way we treat the injuries of war,” said Kevin Collins, IHF Board Member & Managing Partner of The Club at Ravenna. “The Ravenna Community is proud to shed more light on the importance of providing veterans with tools necessary to cope with the mental and emotional stress they have encountered while serving our country and to raise critical funds that further Infinite Hero’s mission”.
This year we are proud to welcome esteemed speakers, Staff Sergeant Ryan M. Pitts, Medal of Honor, Operation Enduring Freedom and Chris Kimbrell, Retired Navy SEAL, SEAL Team 6. Guests will undoubtedly be humbled by their openness and inspired by their strength and resilience as they share a glimpse into their journeys.
Attendees will enjoy a morning program, including powerful speeches from our speakers, at the beautiful Villa Ravenna clubhouse. The morning program will be followed by a day of golf on the Ravenna Golf Course and then guests will return to the clubhouse for a reception featuring lunch, live music, refreshments, sponsor recognition, golf awards, hand-rolled cigars and more.
