PROGRAM MANAGER, DEKA RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Stewart Coulter is Engineering Manager at the renowned inventor Dean Kamen’s R&D company. At DEKA Research & Development, he has served as the project manager for programs such as the iBOT mobility system and the “Luke” prosthetic arm system and other projects in medical devices, transportation and energy. DEKA has been developing innovative products for over 30 years, focused on medical products such as the HomeChoice™ portable peritoneal dialysis machine and the Segway® Human Transporter. Previously, Coulter worked with a variety of companies ranging from Compaq to Robert Bosch, focusing on innovation and product and process design in industries ranging from automotive to chipmaking. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a B.S.M.E from Stanford University.
