PRINCIPAL PARTNER, PATTERNS AND PREDICTIONS; DIRECTOR, THE DURKHEIM PROJECT
Chris Poulin is the principal partner at Patterns and Predictions, a Big Data analytics firm. He also is the director of The Durkheim Project, a DARPA-funded, non-profit program that is a Big Data collaboration backed by the U.S. Veterans Administration and Facebook Inc. He recently was co-director of the Meta-Learning Working Group at Dartmouth College, working on large-scale machine learning. Poulin has also lectured on artificial intelligence at the U.S. Naval War College. His other research affiliations include the University of Massachusetts in the area of supercomputing/high performance computing (HPC). Previously he was the Vice President of Advanced Technology (R&D) for a commercial search entity, Viziant, a provider of Search/KM for the U.S. Military.
